The Atmospherics are a young Indie-Pop band from Blackpool. The band members are David Mangnall (lead vocals & guitar), Sam Snibson (guitar & backing vocals), Matthew Yates (bass guitar) & Josh Longton (drums & backing vocals)
All college students aged 18 and 19, the band were formed around eighteen months ago and have since gone on to perform on some good sized stages. Instantly recognisable for their upbeat, energetic and catchy original songs, the band were pipped by only a single point in the recent town’s `Battle Of The Bands` competition, finishing runners-up.
With a very good local following in the area, the band have been highly praised for their live performances and have received some excellent press reviews. They have also played live gigs in Manchester and other towns & cities around the North West to excellent acclaim including sell out shows.
