Formed by Drummer Matt Neicho, and Guitarist Henry Every, The Days We Don’t began life as a 4-piece back in November 2013 (with vocalist Matt Bond, and Bassist Adam Taylor). They released their first demo of their single ‘Strangers’ in March of the following year, having opened at the Tunbridge Wells Forum in aid of Parkinson’s UK. Encouraged by the recent resurgence in British Rock Music, with the likes of Royal Blood and Marmozets paving the way forward, TDWD blend hard hitting riffs, punchy vocals and intricacy to establish their own sound in a concentrated genre. Following successful gigs across the region, the now 5-piece (Dom Dingle – Guitar) returned to the Forum for a third time, having set a record for ticket sales of any independent local band to play the iconic venue, voted Britain’s best independent venue by NME readers. Following the success of their debut release, ‘Noise Complaint – EP’, TDWD are back in the studio in December to record forthcoming singles ‘Darkest Hour’ and ‘Bored Games’.
